My loving husband and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary in June. Normally we celebrate quietly, just the two of us, no fanfare, nothing big. This year, since I was still lugging around my fifty pound cast and a huge “woe is me” attitude we agreed that we would celebrate sometime after my cast was removed and I felt “human” again. Nothing more was said or planned. Or so I thought.
Last weekend, my sneaky (I am using the term affectionately) in-laws, Chet & Barbara and sister-in-law Teresa, her husband Mark and their children put together a surprise anniversary party for us. We are so blessed to have such loving, caring wonderful people in our lives. Thank you to all of you! It really meant a lot to the both of us!
